Jennifer Morrison currently has her plate full with numerous projects. She can next be seen at the Tribeca Film Festival in "Knife Fight," directed by Bill Guttentag and produced by Guerrino De Luca. The story centers around a young political crisis manager who learns a valuable lesson in believing in the most unlikely of people.
Morrison is presently in pre-production on a film adaptation of Neil LeBute's "Some Girls," which follows a man who revisits several of his scorned ex-girlfriends on the eve of his wedding. The film also stars Adam Brody, Emily Watson and Kristen Bell.
She was recently seen in the feature "Warrior," directed by Gavin O'Conner and starring Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton. Other film credits include J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek," where she played Winona Kirk, Captain James Kirk's mother, the 20th Century FOX film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," starring with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Dreamworks' "Surviving Christmas," opposite Ben Affleck and Christina Applegate, and the independent film "Flourish," in which Morrison both starred and produced.
On televison Morrison was recently seen on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" as Zoey, the newest love interested to Ted, played by Josh Radnor. She is best known for her work as Dr. Allison Cameron on Fox's critically acclaimed drama, "House." The show was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2009, a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2008, 2007 and 2006, and a 2008 Golden Globe. Morrison was nominated for a 2008 WIN Award for Outstanding Actress Drama Series for the show.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Morrison hails from Chicago, where she studied with the celebrated Steppenwolf Theatre Company and earned a degree in theater from Loyola University.
