ASHLEY JENSEN
Christina on the ABC Television Network's "Ugly Betty"

Gifted with a combination of wit, charm and brilliant comedic timing, Ashley Jensen has left her mark on both audience and industry members. Nominated for an Emmy (Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie) for her work in the "Extras: The Extra Special Series Finale," honored with the Best Television Comedy Actress and Newcomer Awards at the 2005 British Comedy Awards for her work on "Extras," and honored with Cosmopolitan UK's 2007 Fun Fearless Top Woman on TV Award, Jensen's commitment to comedic excellence has proven to be unwavering.

Jensen recently reprised her role as Maggie Jacobs for HBO's "Extras" Season 2 and the special finale Christmas episode opposite Ricky Gervais. With A-list guest stars such as Kate Winslet, Ben Stiller and Samuel L. Jackson playing parodied versions of themselves, "Extras" continually expands its comedic direction and range. In 2006 Jensen won the Rose d'Or Award for Best Sitcom Actress for her work on the show, as well as the Golden Nymph Award for Best Actress at the 2006 Monte Carlo Film Festival. She was also nominated for a BAFTA for Best Comedic Performance by an Actress in a Comedy Series, was named comedienne of the year in 2006 by Glamour Magazine, and was recently nominated for a WIN Award for her performance on "Extras."

Jensen also recently starred in BBC America's drama series "Eleventh Hour," opposite Patrick Stewart. As protection officer Rachel Young, she was able to exercise her acting range in this politically charged suspense/drama. "Rebus," "Clocking Off," "City Central," "Sweet Medicine," "Two Thousand Acres of Sky," "Outside the Rules" and such films as "A Cock and Bull Story" and "Topsy-Turvy" are also some of her recent projects.

Jensen was born in Scotland and currently resides in Los Angeles.
