Andrew Van de Kamp on the ABC Television Network's "Desperate Housewives"
Shawn Pyfrom has been acting for as long as he can remember. Currently entertaining millions of viewers each week on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," Pyfrom stars as Andrew Van de Kamp, the rebellious teenage son of Marcia Cross' character. The show's all-star ensemble cast has earned him two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and a Prism Award nomination.
Pyfrom can soon be seen alongside Amy Sedaris and Chris Kattan in "Tanner Hall," a dramatic and vivid peek into the private world of an all-girls boarding school in New England.
On the silver screen he starred in the 2006 Disney feature "The Shaggy Dog," opposite Tim Allen, Kristen Davis, Danny Glover and Robert Downey, Jr. Other feature film credits include "Pay It Forward," "A Day in the Life" and Disney's "Max Keeble's Big Move."
Prior to "Desperate Housewives," Pyfrom appeared in episodes of "Still Standing,"
"8 Simple Rules," "Malcolm in the Middle," "Reba," "The Drew Carey Show," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Seventh Heaven," and in an Emmy-nominated episode of "Touched by an Angel." He was also nominated for the Hollywood Reporters' Young Star Awards Best Actor for his role in the ABC Movie-of-the-Week, "Come on Get Happy," about the Partridge Family series. His first acting job was Disney's "Sing Me a Story."
Pyfrom currently resides in Los Angeles.
