With a starring role on the hit ABC drama "Brothers & Sisters," as well as other television and film roles with some of today's hottest film actors and directors, Sarah Jane Morris is quickly emerging as one of Hollywood's most sought after leading ladies.
While not filming "Brothers & Sisters," Morris has recently stayed busy shooting a role in director Gabriele Muccino's upcoming film "Seven Pounds," opposite Woody Harrelson and Will Smith. The film will be released December 12, 2008.
Morris has scored recurring roles on "Windfall," "Felicity" and "Boston Public," as well as guest appearances on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Cold Case," "Ed," "Dark Angel" and Judd Apatow's "Undeclared." She was also seen in "Coyote Ugly," opposite Maria Bello and Piper Perabo, and in "Underclassman," with Nick Cannon.
Also possessed of a strong passion for theatre, Morris is an active member of The Echo Theater Company. The group consists of fellow actors, writers, directors and producers dedicated to developing and presenting the work of playwrights on all levels. She performed in their production of "Six Feet Under" writer Kate Robin's "Anon" last year.
Morris currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, rock band drummer/vocalist Rooney, and their dog.
